  1. Looks good! Loved seeing the huge group at TS for the New Year’s Day WOD today. Decay and Bounce flew through this one, as did Staci and Pony. Thanks to Janelle and Sporty for letting me work in with their bars, too. Beef and I partnered up, and carrying all 205 lbs of that dude for 200m run/walk/waddle was no joke. Fun times. See you all tomorrow at TS 8:30.

    Happy New Year to everyone at CFHC. Bummed I can’t wod till Monday, but super excited to run the Ragnar this weekend.

    Today’s insane partner WOD at the garage was awesome, however I’m kinda glad Turbo does not do the programming on a daily basis :)

    4 weeks off for minor surgery and I think I’m finally ready to start easing back into the CF routine. Can’t wait to get started, but I feel like I’m starting over from scratch. It doesn’t take but a couple weeks off to undo quite a bit of progress. Really looking forward to 5:30 tomorrow @TSB and slightly dreading it at the same time.

    Just realized that today marks 3 years with Hardcore…I can’t believe I stuck with a gym for that long & still love every minute of it. Thanks to Turbo, 57 & Queen for getting me started at The Garage & Tino, Bruce, April & Adam for pushing me beyond my comfort zone at TC. Love you guys! I still remember when I couldn’t put away the 35# bar b/c it was too heavy! Looking forward to another amazing Xfit year with lots of pr’s, stringing muscle ups & many more friendships!

    15:10RX. I should add push ups to my list of things to fix in 2013. Lightest power cleans I can remember us doing in ages, and I was still breaking them up.

    Those push-ups were so not fun after yesterday, but I banged my first 20 out unbroken! Which is huge because I SUCK at doing them! I think my time was 16:34?

    As much as I like and respect you turbo, I agree with Rae Rae!

    Started a 5 day purge before the 24 Day Challenge. Lots of water and healthy eating. My goal is to not cheat until Super Bowl Sunday.

    13:33rx today at the Rooster station class. A perfect WOD to break into 2013. Tator, CSI and I did a little extra. 200 meter row and some curls for Tator and I and CSi did a row/ab combo. We did 8 sets to equal one mile row and 80 reps of curls or abs.

    @ Vegas I agree with you, light cleans and I think only the first round went unbroken.

    Great WOD today – 20:12Rx. I was aiming for 20:13, but must have skipped a rep somewhere.

    I had a blast WODing at The Station yesterday, but I fear some of my peeps at The Garage took it personally. I apologize to anyone who felt betrayed (Rae Rae, Tardy and whoever spray painted “TRAITOR” on the back of my car this morning).

    TS 830 class was a fun one today ! 14 min for me…. cleans and wall balls wiped me out yesterday thought I was stuck in bad dream…… Roundy and F16 killed this one today…..Psycho was chasing me down with large Knife on 400 ….lol had to run fast to finish ….. Must of had bad dreams last night Psycho and Ground Hog Day…..hahahaha

    Great morning at TS with Coach Staci. Pushups got tough at 30-i broke them up into 5s at that point. Lost my TTB Kip but got it back after the WOD today. PCs cramped my forearms big time. F16 and Bounce flew through this one! Great job to Connie for hanging in there and getting her bar loaded today. Time was 14:47Rx today.

    Loved this Wod. Some of my favorite movements. Pushups, wall balls and ttb’s all unbroken. Cleans felt good,but I did break them up. I thought Bounce was right behind me on the 400m, so I sprinted it, and thought for sure I was going to puke.12:12Rx. Psyco and Roundy killed it. Nice cleans…Bounce.
    @Cheetah….. I know exactly what your going through my friend, I’m still being reproached about Woding with you and the 6am crew at TG several weeks ago. Maybe we should get together and go Wod at HQ, and see how they like that!! F@ck it,Sandbox too….lol :)

  14. @3:14, no sense in repeating it in order to get a faster time. Not trying to be a smart ass know it all, but that’s not the point of CrossFit. Just trying to help. Do it once, move on. Repeating does no good. Work on skills, weaknesses, stuff like that. If you feel that you should’ve had a better time/score, then ask yourself why you didn’t, and then go from there. Be faster tomorrow, that’s all! ;)

      Not sure i completely agree Chewie. What happens at the Open? You go through once, get the nerves out and get familiar with it, then do it again to do better. I wouldn’t do it all the time and probably not same day but sometimes a repeat is ok.

    Chewie, I know you’re a coach and I’m not, but I definitely think repeating is sometimes worth while. If you just had a bad morning and it’s eating at you, redoing it and doing it well can make you feel better.

    The first time I did Helen I did it in like 19 minutes. Just totally didn’t have my heart in it at all. I redid it later that day and shaved off 5 and felt so much better. Just getting that weight off my shoulders was worthwhile.

    Great wod to start the year!!!!! I felt a bit slow..then again I probably added 5lbs over the holidays. Glad to be back and getting ready to start the 24 day challenge. @chips498 I will need all of that moral support you got there cause no coffee for that many days already sounds horrible!!!!!

    Today marked my 1 year anniversary at CFHC!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all the coaches out there and everyone at The Station. I LOVE THIS SHIT!

    Today also marked 1 year at CHFC for me!

    I remember that first day like it was yesterday and I’m amazed at how far I have come since then. It has truly been a life changing experience and I can’t wait to see what 2013 brings. I’d like to thank all the coaches at TC, Tino and Chantal especially for their never-ending encouragement and support. I’d like to also thank all the members at TC for making me feel welcome since day 1 and pushing me to my limits every single WOD. Deciding to walk in that door a year ago was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

    Great time at HQ as usual with bali , Holly and the rest of the 9:30 crew. Today felt like I was back at day 1 of crossfit. What a mess…. food and diet play such a crazy role on how well you’ll do in the wod. no more playing around though… cleanse in hand…tomorrow I start. :)

    I was on my 2nd round and someone was already yelling time. Joker you are ridiculous ! great to see the station so packed today. Ordered my 24 day challenge today & can’t wait to start. I have been out of control with eating and drinking since Thanksgiving !

    20:25 Rx for me tonight, loved this wod except for the buy-in…dang those push-ups took me FOREVER! Cleans felt really good, though, and I was able to progress through the 5 rounds semi-quickly, well for me anyways. Really wanted sub-20 but just missed it.

    15:43Rx…TTB & Wallballs unbroken, cleans very broken. Pushups were a bit tougher than iThought, but iGot thru them in about 80secs. The run…sucked.
    BTW…this iS post 57…just sayin.
