Chewie I think we need to have a Cap test… what should the cap going rx be for a Wod such as this ?? I think there should be a 5 minute cap considering its only 10 reps so that should take no more than 15 seconds each =1 minute per round !
19:21rx. Front squats were heavy, but also I think the easiest part of the wod for me. Most of my burpees, pull-ups and deadlifts had to be broken up 4 3 3.
Ck crushed me, I thought he’d have to break up his front squats more.
Just achieved my goal of doing more than one pull-up at a time (actually did three great one)!!!!! Now my goal is to do five without dropping down from the bar! Will achieve this before the end of February! Thanks to Tina and Mr. Clean!!!!!

Looking forward to a bit more redemption today.
16:42 rx. I rested more during /after the front squats than I had hoped for, but less than I thought on the burpees. Glad to see a heavy squat day, or anything heavy!

Great morning at TS. Don’t look now, but the 730 has grown lately, and I LOVE it!
Rocky, amazing heart today. Fought her ass off for every single front squat. And then just when you thought her tank was empty, she’d run to the rig and attack the pull-ups like it was her business. Animal. No backing down, no excuses. The way you’re supposed to wod. Rocky, always a treat to coach when you’re there!
And Vincent? My man… Seriously? You have come SO far. Your form, intensity, grit, awesome. The pull-ups looked amazing today, your weights on the bar are up, and the wod times are down… Whatever you are doing OUTSIDE of the box, it’s totally working, keep it up!!!
Fun morning at TS 8:30. Thanks to Chewie for his great coaching, awesome music, and always making it fun. Today was my 2nd time DLing since November, so I was happy with 95#. I did 65# for front squats and honestly, this may have been the first time I have ever gotten the form right on that movement. Yoga has helped me with squats tremendously. I can now bottom out on the squat and “bounce” back up, whereas before I didn’t even know what the coaches meant “popping” back up. Time was 13:29. Great job to everyone today!
Hi Lorena, I am so sorry to hear about your herniated disc. I actually had a hip tear in November due to a combination of things: technical form issues, too little recovery, and too much strain with the heavier weights I chose. I have definitely learned my lesson and rarely use the RX weights these days. I really like using the lighter weights and aiming for higher intensity and speed right now. Mike/Beef also has a herniation at L4-L5 that he has battled with for 6 years now, and he often scales back according to how he is feeling and any warning signs that he may be experiencing. I think we have both learned to focus on getting a high intensity workout without overly focusing on RX weight. Yoga has really helped both of us, too. I hope this helps, and I’d be glad to chat sometime, too.
