I didn’t like this WOD when I read it last night and I didn’t like it while I did. That being said I went up in weight for the thrusters at 115 with a goal of 7-10 each round. I was able to get 10-9-9 of those. These type of WOD’s kick my ass.
@ Bali way to run that class this morning it was controlled chaos.
Great time at TS this morning with the Roosters. Thanks to Bali for the coaching and setting up the stations to have an organized WOD-no one bumped into each other to get to the next station. Love these WODS because you only have to count total reps.
Luv it that EVERY single time i walk out of CFHC, i say WOW that was hard! Thrusters were tough today. 55#/25# kb/run. ‘Controlled chaos’ – totally nailed it Chips. Awesome coaching Bali :0)
Good one, hated the thrusters in this one, why were they so heavy? 223 reps with 75# and 45# KB. It’s funny that about an hour later I was thinking, “boy I’d like to go back and do that one again…” I remember thinking that same thing after the real fight gone bad the first time I did it.
Nice group at TS 8:30 today. Welcome back, Slide! I liked being able to pick my weight and intensity today. Paced myself with the goal of matching the same number of reps for each round (and I did). I did 65# and 35# and total was 291. Welcome, Elizabeth!
Fun morning at TS, great job everyone!! Loved seeing you guys go lighter with the weights, picking up the intensity! Everyone worked hard the entire 15 min. with minimal rest, awesome! Thank you roosters for helping set up and thank you 8:30 crew for the breakdown! And 9:30 solo with Kiersten, great job and welcome to the madness!
I did this WOD today. It was hard. It made me tired. I think I was around 228RX or 238RX. It’s humbling to get crushed by someone 15 years older than you, but Zohan does that day in and day out. He was around 250RX.
Later in the day I did some running, then EMOM work at the Garage with 155# HPCs. Trying to see if I’m ready for an RX DT (which has 45 155# HPCs)…and I’m not..not yet.
This was more fun than I expected. Scaled down to 55# thrusters and 35# kb for 267 reps. Thank you for including sit ups, which accounted for about 90 of that total. That 17 minutes sure went fast!
309 with 75/45# at 7:00PM TSB. I was aiming to break 300, so I was happy with my score! Also glad to notice the 75# thrusters becoming a little more bearable
Quick question. Were you supposed to do this Fight gone bad style or did everyone do all 3 rounds of their rowing with breaks, then move to 3 rounds of thrusters, then 3 rounds of kettle-bell, etc?
@Arnie…you start w/ rowing then thrusters then kb swings then situps then box jumps…running clock, minute on each exercise. Rest 1mn then run thru same sequence for 2 more rds. 5mns work then rest 1mn, 3rds.
1st?
You win Big Cat
EWOD so fun tonight!
Whoa baby! sandbox roosters might want to consider wearing helmets with me there swinging a heavy KB :-/
iLove WOD’s w/ Rx rests.
Fight gone…cruel
We’re not playing nice this week
Fight Got HEAVY!
When is the next Battle of the Boxes?
I will be back next week Stationers!!!
The shuttle is only there because not all facilities have enough rowers. But you can also stagger everybody.
One should be able to get 3 rds of rowing in….be creative coaches!!!
241 w/ 55# thrusters and 35# kb. Thrusters were definitely the toughest part but I like the mix, it kept me on my toes.
I liked this. Great way to start the day with some energy!
iPod EWOD 5pm @ TG…come run for fun.

@ Vegas I forgot to add that Tator and I did a bench workout afterwards! I am sure not as good as yours CK’s however.
TG 6am….253…modified the thrusters and went light on the KBs.
I enjoyed this WOD a lot more than I thought. Only 214 though (stupid situps) w 115/70
